Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day tour of Latur and Beed districts, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar refrained from making statements against the opposition or responding to their claims. He emphasized that his party has ample welfare schemes and developmental projects to showcase. Addressing questions about Union minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to understand the basis of the statement. At a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, Pawar highlighted the government's comprehensive efforts for development across various communities and sought support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming assembly elections. Emphasizing the party's commitment to secular principles, Pawar referenced historical figures and reiterated the government's dedication to the welfare of all sections of society. He discussed initiatives such as the "Jan Sanman Yatra" and the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, along with other schemes benefitting women, farmers, and various workers. Pawar assured ongoing support and incentives for these groups as part of the government's inclusive approach to governance.He expressed confidence that these initiatives would persist for the next five years with the support of Mahayuti in the upcoming elections.
